There are reports that Barack Obama suffers from a severe case of Obsessive-compulsive disorder. The disease apparently forces Obama to silently count to 1000 until he can appear on stage.

Sorry, this is just another shameful distortion of the truth. Senator Obama does NOT suffer from OCD or any other disorder that “controls” his behavior. Mr. Obama merely collects his thoughts before appearances. It is completely normal to quietly recall all of the State Capitals in alphabetical order, and then tap your left heel 37 times to the beat of Yellow Submarine.

In a blatant display of overconfidence, Barack Obama reportedly consulted with an interior designer about making some custom alterations to the White House interior, so he and his family could feel more at home.

Total fabrication (pardon the pun). While it is not unusual for newly elected Presidents to make design changes to fit their unique style and taste, Senator Obama is 100% focused on the election – nothing else. However, Barack does strongly believe; the Lincoln Bedroom is somewhat drab, the Roosevelt Room is lacking gravitas and that the Oval Office is severely outdated.

As a way to bolster his image globally, Obama’s people have contacted Beijing officials to inquire about the possibility of having Obama somehow incorporated within the Olympic opening ceremony.

Nice try, but unfortunately this item is indeed false. While Senator Obama is quickly becoming one of the world’s most respected icons, he does not have any interest in participating in the opening ceremony. Instead, Senator Obama has reached a tentative agreement to present the gold metal to the Women's gymnastics winner.

UPDATE – Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton has just confirmed that Senator Obama will also play a key role in the Pre-Game analysis with Bob Costas, a minor appearance during the Men’s 3000m steeplechase and a brief cameo during the Closing Ceremony with his wife Michelle.
